Baseball Recap: Metro Tech Comes Up Short

Metro Tech came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos, falling 13-2.

Metro Tech saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Iziah Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Metro Tech's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for La Joya Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Metro Tech and La Joya Community will both be playing Central the next time they take the field. La Joya Community will head out to face Central at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, while Metro Tech will head out to face them at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
