Merino had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Sargent Farmers 3-0 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Jaylyn Lynch paced Merino's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lynch got some help from Riley Pope and her 32 assists. Lynch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Merino's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Sargent, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-3.

Merino has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Flatirons Academy on the 14th. As for Sargent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Hi-Plains on the 14th.
