Yorktown lost to Hendrick Hudson back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Huskers came out on top against the Sailors by a score of 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskers.

Dylan Muck looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Derek Patrissi, who scored a run while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Gabe Iavarone, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Yorktown's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Yorktown will welcome Walter Panas at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hendrick Hudson, they will take on Brewster at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
