Football Game Preview: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Waite Indians

The Lima Senior Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Waite Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lima Senior's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

On Friday, Lima Senior was fully in charge, breezing past Bowsher 45-9. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the BlueRacers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Waite was able to grind out a solid win over Scott on Friday, taking the game 26-14.

The victory got Waite back to even at 4-4. As for Lima Senior, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Lima Senior against Waite in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 79-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
