Volleyball Recap: Haywood Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Haywood Christian Academy lost against Challenger back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Wolves fell just short of the Firebirds by a score of 3-2.

Challenger's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriela Ramirez-Soto, who had 21 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Ramirez-Soto has posted since back in September.

Haywood Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Challenger, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

As of now, neither Haywood Christian Academy nor the Firebirds have any future games scheduled.
