Soccer Recap: Atwater Find Success

Atwater's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Merced Bears by a score of 4-2. Julian Zaragoza had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Falcons.

The win got Atwater back to even at 7-7-5. As for Merced, they moved to 10-7-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Atwater will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Golden Valley at 5:45 p.m. Golden Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Merced, they will venture away from home to take on Buhach Colony at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Merced is facing Buhach Colony at the right time seeing as Buhach Colony is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
