Basketball Game Preview: Crean Lutheran Saints vs. Brentwood School Eagles

The Crean Lutheran Saints will square off against the Brentwood School Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Crean Lutheran is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against San Clemente by a score of 68-56. Winning may never get old, but the Saints sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Meanwhile, Brentwood School didn't have too much trouble with Culver City on Wednesday as they won 81-66. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Centaurs are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brentwood School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. As for Crean Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
