Baseball Recap: Weston Comes Up Short

Weston lost to Pitkin on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weston's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Pitkin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Weston and Pitkin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. The Wolves will take on Claiborne Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (94 vs. 210). Meanwhile, Pitkin (ranked 64th) will meet Anacoco (ranked 219th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
