On Saturday, Fort Lupton faced Fossil Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Fort Lupton Bluedevils fell 2-0 to the Fossil Ridge SaberCats. The Bluedevils' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Sebastian Gallegos paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up four kills. Gallegos got some help from Aaron Encinia and his five assists.

Fort Lupton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fossil Ridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
