Softball Recap: Tyler Legacy Takes a Loss

Tyler Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Memorial Warriors, falling 13-7.

ReNaa Hicks was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Sophia Viramontes also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Tyler Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Memorial, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Tyler Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-2 victory against Independence on the 15th. As for Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Pilot Point on the 15th.
