Volleyball Recap: Alief Taylor Takes a Loss

Alief Taylor suffered their biggest loss since November 4, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes, falling 3-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Alief Taylor took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-18.

Alief Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Fort Bend Hightower, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Alief Taylor will take on Lamar Consolidated at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they will face off against Channelview at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
