The result came thanks to Joey Gabriel's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Mancini, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Anthony Groner, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Canfield's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for West Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
