Cinnaminson's Nick Thevanayagan rumbled for the longest rushing play in West Jersey - Liberty this season in his game against Robbinsville last week. Thevanayagan ran for 98 yards on the play and finished with 196 on the day as his team beat the Ravens.
Cinnaminson scaled the state rankings by moving to 154 from 215 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Mario Patrizi's team climbed the ranks as a result of topping Robbinsville 46-18.
Thevanayagan was a passing and rushing force as the Pirates topped Irving Fryar's team. He completed 4 passes for 41 yards and also ran for 196 yards.
Thevanayagan was the most successful running back in the league this week. Brad Hawtorne also contributed to the rushing game with 147 yards on the ground.
Leading West Jersey - Liberty in both passing and receiving yards, Bordentown's Austin Pinkerton and Najee Shabazz have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Pinkerton has thrown for 213 yards this season, while Shabazz has 7 catches for 137 yards. Hawtorne from Cinnaminson leads the league in rushing with 446 yards.
Delran was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in the league. The Bears beat the Scotties 18-12 earlier in the week.
