Baseball Recap: Chattanooga Christian Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

After only one run in their last game, Chattanooga Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ensworth on Wednesday. The Chargers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 14-10. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Tigers on Wednesday, they had to take a 5-1 loss.

John Tinholt was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keegan Nieckula, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Chattanooga Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ensworth, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-16 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chattanooga Christian beat the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
