Softball Recap: Fairfield Knights vs. Littlestown Thunderbolts

Fairfield extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 6-9 in the process. They came up short against the Littlestown Thunderbolts, falling 18-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Littlestown, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games.
