Basketball Game Preview: Richland Bombers vs. Kamiakin Braves

The Richland Bombers will head out to face off against the Kamiakin Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Kamiakin likes a good challenge.

Richland is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Hermiston for the full four quarters, racking up a 100-54 victory. The Bombers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Kamiakin earned a 60-50 win over Southridge on Saturday.

Kamiakin's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Richland, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Everything came up roses for Richland against Kamiakin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 81-47 victory. In that game, Richland amassed a halftime lead of 38-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
