Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs, falling 12-3. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 12-2.

Skyline saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paxton Foster, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Skyline has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season. As for El Dorado Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season.

While Skyline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on June 3.
