Volleyball Recap: Cylvia Wohlford Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Graham + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Virginia High, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Graham G-Men 3-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win on October 9th.

Virginia High was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-91), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 9-25, 25-21, 25-23, 17-25, 15-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Virginia High to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cylvia Wohlford, who had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Wohlford a new career-high. Gabbie Monaco also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Virginia High's victory bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Graham, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

As of now, neither Virginia High nor the G-Men have any future games scheduled.
