Basketball Recap: Garrett Memorial Christian Comes Up Short

Garrett Memorial Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Christian Warriors. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-37 back in December of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Kyleigh Purtle, who posted 15 points. Jordan Dougan was another key player, putting up eight points.

Garrett Memorial Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Garrett Memorial Christian nor Trinity Christian have any future games scheduled.
