Soccer Recap: Patton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Patton hadn't beaten Freedom on the road since April 29, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Patton Panthers put the hurt on the Freedom Patriots with a sharp 4-1 win. It was an even better day for Ana Velasquez as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory (which was Patton's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for Freedom, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patton will head out to square off against East Burke at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Freedom, they are taking a road trip to challenge Maiden at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
