After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alexander Central, Ashe County was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over the Hibriten Panthers. The game marked the Huskies' most dominant victory of the season.

Ashe County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cole Treva led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Bryce Peters was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight rebounds.

Ashe County's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hibriten, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
