Eugene gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They really took it to the St. Elizabeth Hornets for the full four quarters, racking up an 84-50 victory. The Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 19 straight dating back to last season.

St. Elizabeth lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kyson Green, who went 5-for-9 en route to 14 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 40.5% three-point shooting accuracy. Cooper Kemna also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
