Basketball Game Preview: American Heritage Stallions vs. St. Brendan Sabres

The American Heritage Stallions will take on the St. Brendan Sabres at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, American Heritage came up short against Pine Crest and fell 65-54. The Stallions were down 61-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Brendan). They blew past Carol City 90-55 on Wednesday. The Sabres have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 24 points or more this season.

The win (which was St. Brendan's third in a row) raised their record to 12-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points per game. As for American Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
