Basketball Recap: High Island Takes a Loss

High Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 41-25 to the Spurger Pirates. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 36-29.

High Island's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Spurger, they moved to 4-11 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

High Island will challenge Goodrich at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spurger, they will take on Chester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
