            Holy Cross is 2-8 against Dunmore since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Crusaders will take on the Bucks at 4:30  p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many  runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Saturday just wasn't the day for Holy Cross' offense. They lost  8-0 to Holy Redeemer on Saturday. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
Meanwhile, Dunmore had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Warriors. That's two games straight that the Bucks have won by  just one  run.
 Max Forgione made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 In other batting news,  Mason Stets was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.
 Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Dunmore, their record is now 17-3.
