Soccer Recap: Homestead Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Homestead was not quite Concord's equal in the second half on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen. The defeat continues a trend for Homestead in their meetings with Concord: they've now lost three in a row.

Homestead now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Concord, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homestead will face off against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concord, they will take on Westview at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
