Soccer Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Burkburnett Bulldogs. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulls couldn't quite close it out.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Burkburnett, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Coming up, Bridgeport will face off against Mineral Wells at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Burkburnett, they will challenge Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Decatur will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Burkburnett surely won't give up without a fight.
