Baseball Recap: Henrietta Comes Up Short

Henrietta managed to slip by City View the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Henrietta Bearcats lost 14-7 to the City View Mustangs on Tuesday. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Caden Frost made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Dakota Walker, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Henrietta's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for City View, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Looking ahead, Henrietta will take on Holliday at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. Holliday's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Henrietta's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for City View, they will challenge Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
