Baseball Recap: Edcouch-Elsa Takes a Loss

Edcouch-Elsa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Harlingen South Hawks. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 7-3 to the Hawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Edcouch-Elsa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Troy Barco, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Edcouch-Elsa's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Harlingen South, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

While Edcouch-Elsa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
