Basketball Recap: Malad Takes a Loss

Malad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the American Falls Beavers an easy 61-38 win. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 58-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Malad's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for American Falls, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Malad will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on American Falls at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. American Falls will take on Kimberly in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
