The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rogers, who took down 118th ranked Central, 30-13.

Wilson moved up to 131 from 167 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region 8. The Warriors climbed the ranks as a result of a 41-7 win over West Limestone.

Haleyville's dynamic duo of Tanner Ivey and Matt Smith proved tough for Brooks to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Ivey threw for 87 yards and one touchdown and Smith had 50 yards receiving. Dakota Rushing helped Haleyville's passing attack out by catching two balls for 24 yards.

Dillon Miller was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 97 yards on 15 carries as the Wildcats fell to the Lions. Teammate Tucker McCormick added to the ground attack by rushing for 21 yards.

On the ground, West Limestone's Miller has rushed for 406 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Aaron McWilliams. The West Limestone star has 11 catches for 252 yards.

A big matchup in 4A Region 8 this week will be when the Wildcats take on Wilson. Central is in third place, while Scott Brown's team is in second place.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Brent Palmer's team takes on the Warriors. The Wildcats have allowed 127 points this season, while Wilson has given up 114.

The Warriors extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lunetta Reyer's team, 41-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for Wilson.
