St. David hasn't had much luck against Ravenscroft recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The St. David's Warriors will be playing at home against the Ravenscroft Ravens at 4:15 p.m. Ravenscroft took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. David's, who comes in off a win.
While St. David's win against Trinity Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. St. David's sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Trinity Academy on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Grey McMahon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over 4.1 innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Smith Goracke was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Adkins Allen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Ravenscroft fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Charlotte Latin on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 13-12. The defeat leaves the Ravens still looking for their first win of the season.
Like St. David's, Ravenscroft also got a great game from a two-way player: Matt Ulicny. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. Ulicny was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those RBI were his first of the season.
In other batting news, Matthew Madewell led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Matthew Hutter was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
St. David's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ravenscroft, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
