Soccer Recap: Southern Columbia Area Starts Season with Win on the Road

Southern Columbia Area had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the North Schuylkill Spartans 5-1 on Saturday. It was an even better day for Macie Swank as she scored three goals for her team.

Looking ahead, Southern Columbia Area will head out to square off against Millville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Schuylkill, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pine Grove at 10:00 a.m. on September 6.
