Soccer Recap: Ola Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Ola has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes on Thursday, falling 7-1. Ola were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Monroe Area apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Ola's goal came courtesy of Autumn Dionne, who's now up to seven this season.

Ola's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Monroe Area, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Ola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe Area, they will challenge Lake Oconee Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
