Softball Recap: 15 Straight Home Victories for Boonsboro

Boonsboro won the last time they faced Walkersville and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Boonsboro pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Walkersville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Boonsboro will face off against rival Catoctin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 0.7, the Cougars 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Walkersville is set to take on their familiar foe Williamsport on Monday.
