Volleyball Recap: Penns Valley Area Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Penns Valley Area dropped to 15-10 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-match streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Bald Eagle Area Eagles by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

As for Bald Eagle Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-7-2 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since October 4th.

Bald Eagle Area was led to victory by Nora Eppley and Kinsey Clark. Eppley had 31 digs, while Clark had 17 digs and two aces. Those 17 digs gave Clark a new career-high.

Penns Valley Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bald Eagle Area, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Central Cambria on the 30th.
