Volleyball Recap: Orion Chargers vs. Rockridge Rockets

Orion had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rockridge Rockets 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Chargers who have now won 13 matches in a row.

Orion had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 25-14.

Orion was led to victory by Allison Taets and Kennedy Debaillie. Taets had seven digs and 15 assists, while Debaillie had ten digs.

Rockridge's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Keaten Needham, who had 19 digs, and Leah Decook, who had ten digs and 13 assists. Needham has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.
