Hermitage extended their losing streak to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They lost 7-1 to the Bearden Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-0 back in March.
As for Bearden, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Faucett is becoming a predictor of the Bears' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 2-8 when he doesn't). Jackie Flint also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
