Naperville North is 8-2 against Waubonsie Valley since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies will take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Naperville North's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Waubonsie Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Naperville North is headed into the matchup having not lost since April 19 and will look to keep things rolling. Their defense stepped up to hand Downers Grove North a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Naperville North's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Downers Grove North are ranked 85th).

Claire DeCook was the driving force of Naperville North's attack as she scored both of Naperville North's goals, bringing her season total up to eight goals.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Waubonsie Valley and Neuqua Valley, and Neuqua Valley kept the tradition alive. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Wildcats on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Waubonsie Valley haven't been shut out since back in March.

Waubonsie Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-4. As for Naperville North, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-5.

Naperville North came out on top in a nail-biter against Waubonsie Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
