Pasco never let their opponents score on Thursday. They came out on top against the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats by a score of 3-0. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by exactly three runs.

Morgan Montelongo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexandra Rivera, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

The victory made it two in a row for Pasco and bumps their season record up to 6-6. As for Academy at the Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Pasco and Academy at the Lakes will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Pirates see the field they'll take on Fivay at 7:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Academy at the Lakes, their break will end when they face Weeki Wachee at 5:00 p.m. on April 7.
