Preview: Eldorado Eagles vs. McCamey Badgers
The Eldorado Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the McCamey Badgers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eldorado will be strutting in after a victory while McCamey will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, it was close, but Eldorado sidestepped Water Valley for a 14-12 victory.
The critical scores for Eldorado came from Omar Barajas and Tony Kmiec.
Meanwhile, McCamey's 9-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were dealt a 54-20 loss at the hands of Sterling City on Friday.
Eldorado's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-2. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Water Valley, San Saba, and Winters. As for McCamey, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-4.
Eldorado might still be hurting after the 35-12 defeat they got from McCamey in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Eldorado have more luck at home instead of on the road?
