Volleyball Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sebastopol last Friday, Pisgah came back down to earth. The Dragons fell 3-1 to the Jackson Prep Patriots on Thursday. The Dragons have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-22, 24-26, 25-22, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Emi Story Speights, who had 16 digs.

Pisgah's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Jackson Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Pisgah will welcome Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Hartfield Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
