Baseball Recap: Moriarty Comes Up Short

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Moriarty was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Los Alamos Hilltoppers, falling 11-1. The Pintos haven't had much luck with the Hilltoppers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Moriarty's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Los Alamos, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hilltoppers beat Moriarty by a score of 15-2 later that day.
