Spencerport extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 12-5 in the process. They put the hurt on the Gates Chili Spartans with a sharp 17-5 win. The Rangers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Gates Chili, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

For Gates Chili's part, Payton Kretser was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another player making a difference was Maia Lawhorn, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
