Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 82-63 to the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, the Trail Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 33rd).

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Carman-Ainsworth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 92-50 win against Davis Aerospace Tech on the 4th. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 82-63 victory against Catholic Central on the 1st.
