Basketball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Comes Up Short

Tipton-Rosemark Academy suffered their biggest loss since January 9th on Tuesday. They lost 59-39 to the University School of Jackson Bruins. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 46-44.

University School of Jackson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reid Finney out in front who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mills Terry, who had 16 points.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for University School of Jackson, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Tipton-Rosemark Academy nor University School of Jackson have any future games scheduled.
