Football Recap: Golder Falls to Pritzker in First Game of Season

Golder had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Pritzker Jaguars, falling 46-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Aiden Rodriguez was a one-man wrecking crew For Pritzker. as he rushed for 116 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. Rodriguez showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 55 yards. Xavier Rodriguez was another key back, rushing for 37 yards and two scores.

The victory got Pritzker back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Golder will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy at 10:00 a.m. on the 13th. As for Pritzker, they will take on Chicago Military Academy at 1:30 p.m. on the 13th.
