Volleyball Recap: Minooka's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Minooka had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the St. Francis Spartans by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Indians were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Spartans, so the Indians were just returning the favor.

Jayce Moore paced Minooka's offense, picking up 11 kills. Moore got some help from Nicholas Boyce and his 14 assists. Connor Latta controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Minooka's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for St. Francis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.

Minooka is on the road again on Saturday to play Belleville East at 8:00 a.m. As for St. Francis, they will take on Glenbard South at 9:10 a.m. on Saturday.
