Tempe dropped down to 6-4 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Marcos de Niza Padres 48-14. The Buffaloes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.

Although Tempe took the loss, they still got scores from Jonathan Washington and CJ Brown.

As for Marcos de Niza, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Padres, who have now won six contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

Marcos de Niza's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Demetrius Davis led the charge by rushing for 145 yards and one TD while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Jaeden Lott was another key signal caller, throwing for 121 yards and three touchdowns.

As of now, neither Tempe nor Marcos de Niza have any future games scheduled.
