Basketball Recap: Charlotte Takes a Loss

Charlotte came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Portland Raiders, falling 60-40. While losing is never fun, the Orioles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Raiders are ranked 124th).

Charlotte's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Portland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Coming up, Charlotte will square off against Eaton Rapids at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Portland, they will venture away from home to challenge Sexton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
